The roadshow follows previous engagements, including the Ghana-UK Investment Summit, and features investor meetings, business showcases, and networking sessions. These activities are designed to connect investors with decision-makers and provide insights into Ghana's industrialization agenda, focusing on sectors vital for economic growth, industrialisation, and regional trade.

Previous initiatives, such as the UK-Ghana Trade and Investment Summit, generated significant investor interest, with a Deal Room and Investment Matchmaking Session highlighting opportunities exceeding £1.4 billion. These opportunities span agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, health technology, financial services, infrastructure, and the circular economy, with many currently under discussion with potential investors.

Organized by the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce and the UK Government's Jobs and Economic Transformation (JET) programme, the roadshow aims to deepen economic ties between the two nations. The event is being held alongside AFSIC – Investing in Africa, a major Africa-focused investment event, providing Ghanaian businesses and government partners access to a global investor audience.
