Senior Manager Emmanuel Kwei Afutu announced the rollout, which includes 38 sites in the Northern Region, 17 in Savannah, 14 in Upper East, 11 in North East, and one in Upper West. Nationwide, MTN is targeting 500 new sites in 2026.

The expansion aims to help farmers reach markets, students access online learning, businesses process digital payments, and improve security communication. It comes amid rising demand for digital services, with mobile money transaction value growing 44.4% year-on-year in the first half of 2026.

MTN Ghana's revenue rose 32.3% to 15 billion cedis in the first six months of 2026, supporting the investment. The company also invests in digital skills training and community projects through the MTN Ghana Foundation.
